Description

Get picked up from your hotel or other central location from where you will be driven to the Abu Dhabi desert. On arrival at the desert, you will be directed to a camel farm located close by. Next, get prepared for an exciting dune bashing session and fancy a ride along the dunes in a 4WD vehicle that will be led by an experienced driver.

Once the dune bashing comes to an end, you are free to try your hands on sandboarding which is yet another adventurous desert activity. Slide down the soft dunes with your feet tied to the board and savor the fun. While enjoying the activities, don't forget to click some charming pictures of the elegant desert.

Next, you will be driven to the desert camp where you will be welcomed with Gahwa (Arabic coffee) and dates. After you finish the treat and get refreshed, move out of the camp to experience the thrill of a quad bike ride for about 10 minutes. Next, mount on the camel for a ride and awe at the desert beauty while you enjoy the slow-paced ride. As the camel ride concludes, get back to the camp to catch a glimpse of the beautiful sunset from the top of the sand dunes.

Later, take part in a few traditional Arabian activities like, shisha smoking, Arabian makeover and henna tattooing before you treat yourself with the delicious flavors of a BBQ dinner. To wind down the evening, enjoy an entertaining Tanoura and a breathtaking Nashaat show “group of ladies” dance performance.The campsite and the different activities that are being organized at the camp aims at offering you a feel of the bygone Bedouin era.

Once you complete your camp experience, you will be dropped back at your pick up location.

Important Things To Know

• An indemnity form should be signed by all participants before the tour

• You are solely responsible for any damage, injuries during quad biking and items lost are not covered by insurance

• Kids under 3 years, pregnant women and those with serious medical conditions are not allowed in this tour

• It is best not to eat 2 to 3 hours before the tour to avoid vomiting or sickness during dune bashing

• The pick up time will be within the first 30 minutes of your booked time

• Do not carry heavy luggage or large bags

• Wear comfortable shoes and carry sunglasses, sun hat and sunscreen

• This tour is not wheelchair accessible

• Entertainment activities (Tanoura and Nashaat show “group of ladies” dance) will not be available during the special Islamic events as per the UAE law (announced by the government a few days prior to the dates)
